Maintenance

All units are bench tested for quality assurance before shipping. The parts washer come fully assembled and ready to use out of the box.

Use a good grade oil in hole on top of air motor piston. It is best to use a machine type oil on this part such as 3 in 1 oil. A few drips every 30 days is adequate. To lubricate aluminum valve, use STP on lower part from top O-ring to bottom of valve. This will require removing valve and should seldom, if ever, be necessary as valve is treated at factory prior to shipment.

CLEAN DRY AIR IS VERY IMPORTANT. A WATER TRAP MUST BE USED IN THE AIR LINE AHEAD OF YOUR PARTS WASHER.

Tips for Good Operation

*

Check clearance between basket and inside of cleaner bucket.

*

Remove any dents in bucket. Dragging of the basket or the basket load on the inner wall of the bucket will cause erratic operation. Center parts to be cleaned in basket for best performance. When the basket load is less than 1 (one) pound, add ballast to the load for smoother operation.

*

Use air-line pressure of 40 to 200 lb. Adjust the air hose valve to give smoothest operation for the load.

*

At no time should the air motor be allowed to pound on either the bottom of top of the stroke. This can be regulated by the proper amount of air through the air hose valve.

*

Your parts washer will not operate except when in place on a container. This is a safety feature.
